Who will handle the whole property valuation process in the right manner?

The person who is fully attached with the property valuation process knowledge and experience is the right and deserving person for handling the process for making it successful. This is the reason that why people always go in search of selecting the right and most importantly the expert person for making the successful property valuation process with the expert property valuer. Local authorities need not assess all of their operational buildings: benchmark information will not be available on all building types and activity should be proportionate to the energy used in any building.

Guidance will be provided which will identify those buildings likely to have the highest energy consumption before local authorities are required to take action on the indicator. Due to concerns about data quality it was first included as a PAF indicator in 2001/02 rather than during the first year it was available. Given that first data are being analysed now it is possible however that the data collection may be changed.

The decent homes guidance also indicates that we are considering alternatives to the detailed definition of the thermal comfort criterion in line with concerns expressed by some local authorities. If an acceptable alternative can be found, which encourages the delivery of similar outcomes, we will consult on this. We will do so in time for any changes to the definition to be issued before the 2002/03 Best Value Performance Indicators are specified in November.
